Hello and welcome to another episode of Heinz Sight, where we take a closer look at fleeting stories! On this episode, we are taking a closer look at UK renowned DJ, Tim Westwood as it has been widely reported that he could be facing charges by the Crown Prosecution Services for non-recent sexual abuse charges! It was only described as non-recent because in 2022, the BBC and The Guardian carried out investigations into the DJ after many had been publicly calling him out in 2020 with the hashtag, Surviving Tim Westwood and Mute Tim Westwood.
Once the investigations were released to the public by the BBC and The Guardian were 7 women came forward during the investigation and 10 more women came forward after the investigation, Tim Westwood stepped down from his slot at Capital Xtra.
Word is Tim Westwood is still doing international bookings specifically in West Africa and some parts of the UK although he hasnt tweeted since the investigations aired. We shall continue to follow this story as it develops!
