The Majors Vs. NY (2023) Case Files – Week 1 Highlights

After a massive 2023 calendar year, a melancholic thought manifested, “you’ve done your best in bringing as much information that could be gathered on this case to the masses, how are you going to make it so that they can find the references and articles thats been quoted during these livestreams”. Without much weight given to the thought of whether people would care or not, I was moved by the actions of Katt Wagner, who moved mountains to make some of the transcripts available that documented testimonies from Grace Jabbari, Holly Blakey, Officer Swayne and Ryan Strick. This allowed me to embark on the journey that I have always wanted to go on, doing cold reads of documents on a livestream, differentiating it from the Legal Lab which is limited to presenting all of this info, freeing it up to be used as a more intricate dissection of a case. It presented a unique opportunity to offer as much insight that I could, using the Heinz Report report sidebars to present ideas & various thoughts as a lay person interpreting these legal proceedings.

We began the Case Files series as it was always intended, which was, to read documents live, though it has been supplemented with live streams providing comprehensive updates on a particular case in a quick and easy format, it opened us up to do more live interviews and bring together into the case, multiple voices, something legal lab and the non live version of the Heinz Report can’t facilitate quite so easily.

Sat, 6th January 2024 – Officer Swayne (8th december 2023) Testimony!

The cold read of Officer Swayne encapsulated this as with this cold read, I was able to do a side by side view of events as they unfolded in court. As I read the transcript, it was far easier to show the trial evidence to the viewers, something that again, is limited with, not only the brands I offer on here, but the mainstream reporting on a particular case. The chat was also involved in this journey as they also pointed out things that I had missed, such as Sargent Hanson, one of the arresting officers, gesturing to his neck to show illustrate that Grace Jabbari had been strangled, this provided a much needed context as to why the strangulation charge was brought by the officers but was later dropped. Eagle eyed Katt also pointed out that they knew the car incident, what he is charged for, happened before she was found, but still proceeded with the strangulation charges as if they had just occurred. This is a must watch below!

Monday, 8th January 2024 – hOLLY Blakey (8TH december 2023) & Grace Jabbari (5th December 2023) Testimonies!

As the saga continued, we picked up from where we stopped and proceeded to the testimony of Grace Jabbari’s best friend and dance instructor, Holly Blakey. Though her testimony was small, it proved to be pivotal in establishing Grace’s state of mind as, it was uncovered here why she called Holly, from the perspective of Holly and this was important for determining her state of mind as it somewhat aided the defence’s theory of the case whom argued that Grace had set this up to frame Jonathan for what she was responsible for in the car and that she engaged in psychological abuse by weaponizing his fear of the police against him.

As the cold read continued, a surprise appearance by a renowned legal and social commentator, Nate The Lawyer, a former New York criminal defence and assistant district attorney dropped by to offer valuable insights on the case, sharing key info on what Jonathan Major’s strategy should have been, why it likely wasn’t that way and his appeal prospect. He went on to do a video explaining this, but this was a humbling experience, seeing the loyal viewers reactions (who has been following the streams since the verdict) as they got to hear/see this first! A debt of gratitude is owed to Nate for providing such insight and making this cold read much more memorable than it already is!

Tuesday, 9th January 2024 – Grace JABBARI, (5TH DECEMBER 2023) TESTIMONY

We continue the Majors saga with a continuation of Grace Jabbari’s foundational setting testimony as to the background of their relationship. We got to see, to a certain extent, the reasons why Jonathan Majors had broken his furniture and property on the 19th September 2023, likely after the Toronto Film festival. I offered insight, juxtaposing both Majors ABC interview account of the incident where he said “he brushed his candles and phone out of anger” that he is getting help for, and whilst Jabbari’s account of the incident suggests Majors intentionally threw it in her direction rendering her to flew to the bedroom. The context behind the audio where he instructed Grace Jabbari to be more like Michelle Obama and Corretta Scott-King.
